The OEM stock front endlinks are fixed in length. That simplicity can be a detriment to tuning a Mustang for higher levels of performance. A stack-up of production tolerances can often lead to preloading of the front swaybar. The preloaded swaybar in turn affects the car's corner weights. Uneven diagonal corner weights will adversely affect handling by aiding cornering in one direction while hindering cornering in the opposite direction.
The Powergrid adjustable endlinks provide the ability to easily adjust the length of the swaybar endlinks. Properly setting the length will improve handling by eliminating any swaybar preload.
The Powergrid endlinks are not limited to just track-driven cars. Anyone that has taken the time to upgrade even their street-driven car's suspension should consider the Powergrid endlinks. The influence of the sway bar on your Mustang's suspension is as important on the street as it is on the track.
The Powergrid endlinks use adjustable THK resin ball-stud links. Laboratory and field durability testing ensures they meet stringent OEM requirements. They feature a waterproof seal, very low friction in the joint, and up to 50 degrees of articulation. This eliminates binding and allows for smooth load transitions.
Each THK Ball Link is composed of a high-precision ball bearing, a die-cast holder, and a shank connected to the ball by a special welding method. Through a unique production process, the mirror surface of the ball bearing is copied onto the inner mounting surface for perfect contact between them, achieving outstanding wear resistance, exceedingly smooth motion, and high strength.
