Ordering & Payment

Ordering

Orders can be easily placed on the Maximum Motorsports website through our secure encrypted connection. The shopping section of the website is divided into product categories. Choosing from the major product categories allows easy navigation of the shopping section. Simply click on through from the top level categories to the subcategories, and on to find the products you wish to purchase. Once on a product page, you can continue to click on through to the checkout area.

There are two paths available to enter each of the product categories:

  • Click on one of the tabs in the header, near the top of the page.
  • Click on any of the category icons located in the lower center area of the home page.

At any point while shopping, you can view the contents of your shopping cart, and edit or delete its contents, by clicking on the "Cart" link located in the top header of each page.

Ordering can also be done by phone, fax, or postal mail. See the Contact Us page for more details.

Payment

Payment on this website may be made by credit card, debit card, or PayPal. You may place an order on the website to reserve and hold product for later payment by check or money order; select that option during checkout.

Credit cards accepted include: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. We do not ship COD. California residents will be charged the current sales tax rate on all orders.

Your credit card is NOT charged when you complete the shopping cart checkout. All orders are processed by a real human being, and your credit card is charged at that time. Orders are usually processed only during normal weekday business hours.

All purchases are subject to product availability. Any item not in stock will be placed on back order and shipped as soon as it becomes available. Backorders will be charged when the item is back in stock and ready for shipment.

Shipping charges will be added to all orders. See below for more information on shipping options.

Credit Card Fraud

In order to protect our customers against credit card fraud, all credit card purchases are subject to full verification of the cardholder's name, address, and card security code. In some circumstances we may need to contact the purchaser by telephone or email to complete the processing of an order.

We only ship to the credit card billing address, or an alternate "ship-to" address on file with your credit card company. Additional shipping addresses can easily be added to your credit card by simply calling the toll-free customer service telephone number found on the back of your credit card. If your billing address is otherwise different from your shipping address, we may be required to call you to rectify the situation. We do this to protect the security of your credit card, by confirming usage is only by the legitimate cardholder.

Payment by Check

To make payment by check, money order, or cashier's check, complete the normal checkout process. On the checkout Payment page, select the option for Check/Money Order. Do not mail a check to us until we contact you and confirm the total amount. Additional shipping charges may apply for some oversized items. We will contact you with the correct total amount for the check. Personal checks are held for 12 days prior to shipping.

Orders by Fax

Orders may be faxed to us at the number available on the Contact Us page. Please use this printable order form for any fax orders. While faxed orders are received 24/7, they are processed only during our normal weekday business hours.

Orders by U.S. Mail

To place an order through the U.S. Postal Service, please use this printable order form. To make payment by check or money order by mail, first fill out the order form, then contact us by phone, e-mail, or fax, to get current prices, availability, and shipping charges. For fastest service, mail a Money Order or Cashier's Check for the total amount (that's why you must contact us prior to mailing a check: to get the total amount). Personal checks are held for 12 days after receipt, to ensure the check has cleared the bank prior to shipment.

Back Orders

Backordered products will be shipped as soon as possible, unless we are otherwise directed. If an item is backordered you will be informed and given an estimated ship date. You may cancel backordered items within 24 hours of notification of shipment date without penalty.

Special Orders

Special orders must be prepaid and are not returnable or refundable. Special orders are currently not possible through the website shopping cart. You must call us.

Prices

Prices are subject to change without notice. The prices charged will be those prevailing at the time of shipment. Product availability, specification and design, and pricing are all subject to change without notice.

Product Changes

Maximum Motorsports reserves the unconditional right to change the design, materials, specifications, and suppliers of any product cataloged by Maximum Motorsports without incurring any liability or obligation to the purchasers of any such product.

Shipping

All orders from outside the United States will have shipping separately calculated and emailed back to you for confirmation before processing your order. Shipping prices calculated from our website are valid ONLY in the 48 Continental United States.

Standard practice is to ship all orders via UPS Ground. Three additional UPS shipping options are available: "Next Business Day," "2nd Business Day," and "3rd Business Day. Saturday delivery is available in some areas and with some of the expedited services. To receive the fastest service, place your order by phone. We make every effort to ship out expedited orders we receive BEFORE 12:00 noon Pacific Time that same day.

UPS does not count the day your order ships as a shipping day. For example, a 2-day Air shipment that leaves MM on Wednesday will arrive on Friday. UPS picks up from MM only Monday-Friday; regular delivery days are also Monday-Friday. Shipment times do not count weekend days as shipping days. For example, a 2-day Air shipment that leaves MM on Friday will arrive the following Tuesday.

Items too large for UPS (most roll bars) are shipped by truck.

Shipment to an APO address can only be done through the US Mail.

Post Office Boxes

Shipment to a PO Box can only be done through the US Mail.

Damaged Merchandise

Merchandise damaged in transit is the sole responsibility of the carrier. Maximum Motorsports inspects all merchandise prior to shipment and packages it securely. It is your responsibility to inspect it completely, while the driver is present, and have him/her note any damages. If damages are found after delivery, call the carrier immediately for an inspection. DO NOT return any damaged parts to Maximum Motorsports. If you do, the carrier may not honor your claim and the loss will become your responsibility. We can assist with the filing of any damage claims.

Return and Exchange Policy

We always strive to provide 100% satisfaction. All items except Special Orders can be returned within 30 days of the original date of purchase. All items returned must be in perfect, "new" condition, and in the original packaging. It is your responsibility to package all returned merchandise well enough to prevent damage during the return shipment. Do not expect the original packaging to survive being shipped twice. All returns are subject to a restocking fee. Damaged and/or installed parts may be subject to much higher return fees, or may not be accepted.

To initiate a return or exchange, call Maximum Motorsports (our telephone number can be found at the bottom of each page of this website), or email us from the Contact Us page, to obtain a Returned Goods Authorization Number (RGA#). The RGA# MUST be clearly marked on the outside of the package near your return address. Packages WILL NOT be accepted without prior authorization. All returns must include a copy of the original invoice and return shipping must be prepaid. CODs are NOT accepted.

Maximum Motorsports is not responsible for any installation labor charges on products which are damaged, defective, or ordered in error.

Street Legality

Aftermarket parts are intended to modify or prepare a vehicle for uses that exceed conditions anticipated by the vehicle manufacturer.

It is possible to modify a vehicle with some Maximum Motorsports manufactured products such that it may no longer be legally used on public roads. Maximum Motorsports also sells products from other companies that may not be legally used on public roads. Check your state and local laws before installing Maximum Motorsports manufactured products on vehicles intended for use on public roads.

Federal and state laws prohibit removing, modifying, or rendering inoperable any device or element of design of the pollution control devices or systems on any motor vehicle used on public highways.

Warranty

Most parts manufactured by Maximum Motorsports are intended for off-road or competition use only, and are sold "as is" without any warranty whatsoever. Implied warranties of merchantability or fitness, etc., are also excluded. The entire risk as to quality and performance is with the buyer. Should such accessories prove defective, the buyer assumes the entire cost of all necessary service and repair. Exceptions to this policy are only those expressly specified for a particular product.

All accessories manufactured by another manufacturer are warranted to the extent of such warranty offered by the manufacturer. Non-Maximum Motorsports manufactured accessories have no Maximum Motorsports warranty.

We have properly presented the required pre-sale notification of our warranty terms. We are neither liable nor responsible for ascertaining whether those terms have been read by our customers.

Warning

Do not install any Maximum Motorsports product if you do not feel competent at installing the product without causing present or future injury to yourself or others. If necessary, consult a professional installer.
