Developed by Ford for their FR500 car. Reduces movement of the pinion nose during acceleration and braking, which significantly reduces wheel hop. This brace creates a stiffer truss across the differential bushing mount which assists in stiffening the entire IRS subframe. This helps transfer suspension loads into the subframe better than early, stock crossmembers that only span the distance without tying into the differential mounts. This mount was installed from Ford on 2003 Cobras. Update your older IRS equipped car to this newer style brace that Ford agreed was important enough to include.
