Select Bushing Material
- Urethane: Intended for street use. These bushings will make your Mustang far more responsive to steering inputs because of reduced deflection, while keeping it quiet and comfortable.
- Delrin: Intended for racing. These bushings have zero deflection and a longer life expectancy in racing applications than urethane. Expect an increase in ride harshness and noise transmission compared to urethane.
Stock k-member Note
Only urethane bushings should be used because stock k-members do not have a flat surface at the bushing mounts. Urethane easily deflects to accommodate the surface irregularities, while Delrin is too hard to deflect and will cause significant fitment problems.

Aftermarket K-members
Be alert to possible incompatibility with some aftermarket K-members due to the 2 different offsets available for MM Front Control Arms. See "The 2 Versions" section on the Description tab, and choose the appropriate MM control arm set for your K-member.
Will MM Front Control Arms fit other K-member brands?
All MM Front Control Arms designed for Fox and SN95 Mustangs have the stock bushing length and fore/aft spacing. Therefore, they fit all stock Fox and SN95 K-members, as well as aftermarket K-members that correctly duplicate the stock bushing geometry and spacing. Be alert: MM K-members are not the only ones that move the front control arm mounting points in the fore/aft direction from the stock location.
Can I install a stock location spring on an MM Front Control Arm?
NO! The MM Front Control Arms are lighter than stock Ford control arms because they are designed for use with coil-overs. With coil-overs there is no need for the arm to withstand the large bending load caused by a spring mounted in the middle of the control arm, which allows the arm to be made much lighter.
Can I install aftermarket ball joints in the MM Front Control Arms?
Yes. They should be pressed in, using Loctite's green bearing and sleeve retainer. Do not weld the ball joints in place.

Fore and Aft Wheel Location
The fore-aft location of your Mustang's front tires may change after installation of MM Front Control Arms, and will definitely change after installation of an MM K-member. How much it changes in either scenario depends on the specific combination of parts you install. The images below show the results of several combinations installed on a 1994-2004 Mustang.
Left image: No change in tire location, using either:
- Stock K-member and stock front control arms
- Stock K-member and MM Non-Offset Front Control Arms
Middle image: Tire moved forward 0.75", using either:
- MM K-member and MM Non-Offset Front Control Arms. The MM K-member adds 0.75" of forward offset.
- Stock K-member and MM Forward-Offset Front Control Arms. The MM Forward-Offset Front Control Arms add 0.75" of forward offset.
Right image: Tire moved forward 1.5", using:
- MM K-member and MM Forward-Offset Front Control Arms. The MM K-member adds 0.75" of forward offset and the MM Forward-Offset Front Control Arms add another 0.75" of forward offset, totaling 1.5" forward offset.
