Description 

This Maximum Motorsports 2-point Strut Tower Brace fits the 1979-93 Fox Mustang chassis.
  • The firewall braces that are standard on MM's other Fox Mustang strut tower braces are omitted to provide more clearance for modifications such as a Hydroboost or unusually large throttle body inlet tube.
  • The main tube between the strut towers is located 1.2" further forward than the main tube on our MMSTB-1 for fuel injected pushrod V8 engines.
  • Fits stock Fox Mustang hoods.
  • Powdercoated black.

Fitment Notes:

Does NOT fit:
  • 351 Windsor engine.
  • SVO 4-cylinder turbo engine with a stock intercooler.

Pushrod 5.0L based engines:
  • Does NOT fit aftermarket distributors/caps with an overall height greater than a stock distributor.
  • Does NOT fit aftermarket intake manifolds that move the carburetor location forward. An example of this is the Edelbrock 2121 intake manifold. When the carburetor is moved forward by an aftermarket intake manifold the air cleaner assembly moves forward with it. This causes interference between the stock air cleaner assembly and the main tube of this Strut Tower Brace.
  • Does NOT fit aftermarket air cleaners that extend forward further than does the carburetor's stock air cleaner assembly. This movement causes interference with the main tube of this Strut Tower Brace, even when used with the stock Ford intake manifold.
